Our commitment: gambling is entertainment, not income

Playing with us should stay what it is meant to be: entertainment that you choose, enjoy and can stop whenever you want. Our games are built around chance, the odds favour the house over time, and no system or strategy changes that. Money you stake should always be money you are comfortable losing.

Setting a budget before you start is the most useful habit a player can have. Decide what you can afford to spend over a week or a month, decide how long you want to play for, and treat both figures as fixed. Gambling is not a way to make money, clear a debt or manage stress, and going back to win losses almost always makes them larger. The tools in your account let you put those decisions in place in advance, so a limit does the work instead of willpower in the moment.

Our services are for adults aged 18 or over. We hold a gaming licence, and we verify the identity and age of every customer before play. Underage gambling is an offence: where an account is found to belong to someone under 18 we close it, void any stakes and return deposits to the payment method used.

18+ only

Gambling can be addictive. Please play within your means, and never gamble with money set aside for rent, bills, food or other essentials.

The tools in your account and how to switch them on

Every tool below is free, open to all registered customers and set from the safer gambling area of your account or in the cashier. If you cannot find an option, our live chat team can apply it for you.

Deposit limits

A deposit limit caps what you can pay into your account over a daily, weekly or monthly period, and stays in place until you change it. You can hold limits for more than one period at the same time. A new or lower limit applies as soon as you confirm it. A request to raise or remove a limit is held for the cooling-off period shown in your account and must then be confirmed again, so you always have time to think it over.

Loss and session limits

A loss limit caps the net amount you can lose across a chosen period, counting stakes against returns, and play stops once that figure is reached. A session limit caps how long a single logged-in session can run; when the time is up, you are signed out. Both help if your concern is how far a run of play can go rather than what you pay in.

Time-outs

A time-out is a short break. You pick a period from the options in your account, and we lock the account for games and deposits until it ends. You can still withdraw a balance, and we will not send you marketing while the break runs. The account reopens on its own at the end of the period.

Self-exclusion

Self-exclusion is a longer, firmer commitment, available for the periods listed in your account from a minimum of six months. Once it is in place we close the account to play and remove you from all marketing. We will not reopen it early, whatever the reason given. When the term ends the exclusion does not lift by itself: you must ask us to reopen the account, and a further cooling-off period applies before you can play.

Reality checks

A reality check is an on-screen reminder that appears after an interval you choose. It tells you how long you have been playing and asks whether you want to carry on or stop, so a session does not run on unnoticed.

Switching a tool on

  1. Sign in and open the safer gambling section of your account.
  2. Choose the tool you need: deposit limit, loss limit, session limit, reality check, time-out or self-exclusion.
  3. Enter the amount or period and confirm your choice.
  4. Keep the confirmation we e-mail you for your records.
  5. If you need help at any stage, use live chat or write to support@casinomrmega.co.uk.

Tighten now, loosen later

Making a limit stricter takes effect immediately. Loosening one never does: every increase waits out a cooling-off period first.

Signs that gambling may be causing harm

Gambling problems build gradually, and they show in a habit rather than in one session. Go through the checklist below honestly. If several points sound familiar, it is worth acting now rather than later.

  • You play for longer, or spend more, than you planned to.
  • You go back to win money you have already lost.
  • You borrow money, sell belongings or use money meant for bills in order to gamble.
  • You gamble to escape stress, boredom, loneliness or low mood.
  • You hide how much you gamble from your family, friends or partner.
  • Gambling is affecting your work, studies, sleep or relationships.
  • You feel restless or irritable when you try to cut down.
  • You have tried to stop before and have not managed it.
  • You feel guilt or anxiety after you play.

This checklist is not a diagnosis. The services in the next section are free and confidential, they are staffed by people who assess exactly these questions, and you do not need to be in crisis to contact them.

Where to get free, confidential help

The organisations below work separately from us and support anyone in the UK affected by gambling, including family members and friends.

  • GambleAware funds gambling treatment and prevention work and publishes plain information for anyone who wants to understand the risks or find local support.
  • GamCare offers free counselling, group work and online support for people harmed by gambling and for those close to them, through a network of partner services.
  • GamStop is the free self-exclusion scheme for online gambling. A single registration blocks your access to the gambling sites covered by the scheme for a minimum period that you choose, and we check the scheme when accounts are opened and used.
  • The National Gambling Helpline gives confidential advice at any hour of the day and can put you in touch with treatment near you.

You can reach each of these by searching for it by name. Many banks also let you block gambling payments from your card or account, and blocking software can shut gambling sites off on your own devices. Our team can explain our tools and apply them for you, but we cannot give clinical advice and will always point you to these services for that.

Protecting children and others in your household

Our site is for adults only. We verify the age and identity of every customer before play and may ask for documents again at any point; where age cannot be confirmed, we suspend the account until it is. Most of the remaining risk sits on the devices in a home, so if you share a computer, tablet or phone with children:

  • Never save your log-in details or let a browser remember your password.
  • Sign out fully when you stop playing, rather than just closing the window.
  • Keep card and banking details out of reach and never let a child use your payment methods.
  • Use parental control or site-blocking software, along with the content filters built into your device and home network, to restrict access to gambling sites.
  • Set up separate user profiles so a child never uses a device signed in as you.

If you believe someone under 18 has used your account, or you want to talk any of this through, use live chat, write to support@casinomrmega.co.uk or e-mail responsiblegaming@casinomrmega.co.uk.
