Book of 99What these bonus terms cover
These Bonus Terms and Conditions apply to every bonus, free spins offer, cashback, tournament and other promotion we make available to your account with us. They sit alongside our general Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy and form part of your agreement with us.
Each offer also carries its own specific terms, shown with the offer itself in the promotions area or in the cashier. Those specific terms state the wagering requirement, the qualifying games, any stake limit and how long you have to use the offer. Where a specific term differs from the general rules on this page, the specific term applies to that offer.
By claiming or accepting a bonus you confirm that you have read and accepted the terms attached to it. If anything is unclear, please ask us before you claim, because a bonus cannot always be undone once it is active.
Who can claim a bonus
Bonuses are offered at our discretion and are not an entitlement. Before you claim, please check that all of the following apply:
- You are aged 18 or over and hold a registered account with us in your own name.
- You have opted in to receive promotional offers, where the offer requires an opt-in.
- You hold only one account. Offers are limited to one per person, household, device, shared network and payment method.
- Any qualifying deposit is made with your own funds, using a payment method registered in your name, and with a method that is not listed as excluded in the offer terms.
- You claim the offer within the promotional period stated, and you follow any steps shown, such as entering a code in the cashier.
- Your account is not closed, suspended, in a time-out, or subject to self-exclusion, and you are not registered with a self-exclusion scheme.
We hold a gaming licence and verify the accounts we hold, so we may ask you for proof of identity, address, age or ownership of a payment method before a bonus is credited or before funds connected to a bonus are paid out. If we cannot complete those checks, the offer may be withdrawn.
Wagering requirements and how bonus play works
Most offers carry a wagering requirement: an amount that must be staked before money from the bonus becomes withdrawable cash. The multiplier, and whether it applies to the bonus alone or to the deposit and bonus together, is stated with each offer.
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Bonus funds | Money or spins credited to your account as part of an offer, held separately from your cash balance until the wagering requirement is met. |
| Wagering requirement | The number of times the qualifying amount must be staked before the balance can be withdrawn, as stated in the offer terms. |
| Game contribution | How much of each stake counts towards the wagering requirement. This varies by game type and is set out in the terms of the offer. |
| Maximum conversion | The most that can be moved to your cash balance from a bonus, where an offer applies a cap. |
Which games count towards wagering
Games contribute to wagering at different rates, and some games are excluded altogether. The rates and exclusions that apply to an offer are published with that offer. Stakes placed on an excluded game do not count towards the requirement and may be deducted from the progress shown in your account.
Stake limits while wagering is open
While a wagering requirement is open, a maximum stake per spin, hand or round applies, as stated in the offer terms. Buying a feature or placing a bonus-buy stake may also be restricted. We ask you to check the limits shown in your account before you play.
Staking above the limit
If you stake above the limit that applies to an active offer, we may remove the bonus and any winnings generated by it. Where this happens we will tell you, and your own deposited funds are not affected.
Order in which funds are used
Where your account holds both cash and bonus funds, the order in which they are used is shown in your account balance and in the cashier. Progress against a wagering requirement, the balance still to be wagered and the time left on an offer are all visible there while the offer is active.
Expiry, withdrawals and cancelling an offer
Every offer runs for a set period, stated in its terms. The following rules apply at the end of that period or when you ask us to end an offer early:
- Bonus funds and free spins that are not used within the period stated expire and are removed from your account, together with any winnings that still carry an open wagering requirement.
- Free spins must usually be played on the game named in the offer, and winnings from them may be credited as bonus funds subject to wagering.
- You may cancel an active bonus at any time from your account or by asking our support team. Cancelling removes the bonus and any winnings attached to it, and leaves your cash balance available.
- Requesting a withdrawal while a wagering requirement is open may forfeit the bonus and the winnings connected to it. The cashier will tell you before the request is confirmed.
- Where an offer applies a cap on the amount that can be converted to cash, any balance above the cap is removed once wagering is complete.
Misuse of offers and changes we may make
Offers are intended for players using them in the ordinary way. We may withhold or remove a bonus, remove winnings generated by it, or restrict an account where we find, after looking into the activity, that an offer has been misused. Examples include:
- Opening or using more than one account, or acting together with other players to claim the same offer repeatedly.
- Low-risk or covered staking patterns designed to clear wagering with little exposure, such as betting on opposing outcomes of the same round.
- Using automated software, scripts or any tool that plays on your behalf.
- Taking advantage of a fault, pricing error or technical issue in a game or in the cashier.
- Depositing with a payment method that is not yours, or reversing a deposit by chargeback.
- Giving us information that is inaccurate or incomplete during registration or account checks.
We may add, change, suspend or end any offer, and we may change these bonus terms. Changes do not apply retrospectively to a bonus you have already claimed and are already wagering, unless we are required to make the change by law or by our regulatory obligations. Where we decide to remove a bonus or winnings, we will explain the reason, and you may raise the matter with us through our complaints process.
Safer gambling and how to reach us
Our offers are available to players aged 18 or over only. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time in your account settings, and opting out does not affect your ability to play with your own funds. The tools in your account let you set deposit limits, take a time-out or self-exclude, and we will not send you promotional offers while a time-out or self-exclusion is in place. GamStop allows you to exclude yourself from licensed online operators in Great Britain.
If gambling is no longer enjoyable, free and confidential support is available from GambleAware, GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline.
